New computer arma 3 requirements gpu usage issues low fps

Start off by giving you my system info.

intel g850
7850 2gb
8gb 1333
... other things lol

Got this computer on a trade. No matter what settings i have arma 3 on the fps stays at around 25. The gpu usage goes between 15-40%. I should be able to run it on high.... let alone low at better than 25fps. If anyone has any ideas that might help let me know.

Arma loves fast cores! Sorry but your CPU will not be good enough to keep a 30+ fps

everyone loves the i5 2500k sandy bridge.. otherwise the 3570k is still a cheap competitor.. if your loaded on cash the 3770k

If i buy the 2500k I'll have to order online and then my wife will know what i really spent on it lol. I don't think my motherboard supports ivy bridge either.

According to them, you do support Ivy (At least, with a BIOS update.)

Your processors is certainly holding you back. http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cpus/2012/05/01/intel-core-i5-3570k-cpu-review/6 That will show you what a 3570k at stock can get you, though they are using a GTX 590 (The 7850 is a great card, but no 590).

Well, i already updated the bios. Hopefully you're right and i can pick one up in town. They don't stock sandy bridge anymore >.<
