Hi,

I'm thinking to buy a new GPU which could handle COD4 MP at 250 FPS at a resolution of 1400*900 or at least 1280*1024.

I'm not an avid gamer but play a couple of games and COD4 MP is the most.

Basically, I don't need a high end GPU. Just something that could give me 250 FPS at high graphics.

My specs:

MB: DG31PR
CPU: Intel E4500 2.2Ghz
SMPS: 450W(12V-18A)--Not branded
RAM: 4GB
OS: Win 7
GPU: GT 220

Your inputs will be appreciated.

Here are a few I searched. Dunno if they are compatible with my specs:

Thnks!

PS: I'm from India, buying from amazon.com(Including shipping and Customs) is cheaper than from Indian sites.

I meant that you should get the 7770 if it is the same price as the 7750 and you meet the power requirements for it to be used properly. =D
Hmm, well due to your Cpu which is holding you back I would say the 650 is a valid option the non ti, the 7750 is also a good choice you have there I would say you really don't need a aftermarket cooler on a card like that but it doesn't hurt. I would say either the 650 or the 7750 for you. Reason being your CPU would hold you back on the more expensive cards also without knowing the quality of your power supply I think its safer to go with the card that will draw less. The 650 and the 7750 are very close in performance I'll share a link.

Thanks for the reply bigshootr8@.

I was already checking the anandtech for comparisons btwn different GPUs.

I have no issues buying a new PSU.

I don't want to compromise on FPS in COD4, that's all I'm looking for right now.

The other thing is, will my mother board support such high GPUs?

I can spend around $150 for GPU and PSU. Sadly, I can't buy a new CPU coz my MB doesn't support any "i" series of intel chipsets also, I don't have budget to buy new CPU, MB and all. And, buying a Quad process is way too costly that is supported.

Right I understand that any real computer change would mean new memory, new motherboard, and a new processor which kept me from upgrading for a while till I took the plunge and it was scary spending the money on doing that. For Call of Duty 4 I would say either the 7750 or the 650 would be excellent choices. I'm looking at the system requirements now and both cards would more then likely kick the recommended requirements out of the window. Your current power supply should be able to support the cards you want. I wouldn't try to squeeze both the power supply and the graphics card within your budget. Mainly because you very well could possibly end up with a poor quality power supply.

They do ship to India, but only a select inventory.

Just type in "amazonglobal" and select what comes, you'll get the link for items that could be shipped to India.

Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/International-Shipping-Direct/b/ref=amb_link_366655462_1?ie=UTF8&node=230659011&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=auto-sparkle&pf_rd_r=21223F739CE34808A025&pf_rd_t=301&pf_rd_p=1421386262&pf_rd_i=amazonglobal

So, as I mentioned if I order from Amazon, it's cheaper than Flipkart.

Ya HD 7750 will consume less power with same performance as gtx 650

The Shipping and Customs depend on items.

And, if your order total is >$125 of eligible items, you'll get free shipping.

As an example:

http://www.amazon.com/Zippo-Polish-Chrome-Pocket-Lighter/dp/B001E57S96

http://www.perfume2order.com/Perfume/5354/0/%20/ZIPPO/250-HIGH-POLISH-CHROME-ZIPPO-LIGHTER.html

See the price difference in both the links, double in india.

I ordered many items(cost of the order was around $180) and I made a chart for the items' prices in India and at amazon. I must say I have saved around $40(INR 2200).

Well if you are going to get something better for the same price you mind as well not limit yourself right?

I'm sorry helper800, I didn't understand your comment correctly.

Did you mean to say that I can go with 7770?

Sorry my English isn't that good.
