  1. No, you need the same type of card, but they can have different memory size.
  2. No, for SLI you need to pair cards with the same GPU, so you can only pair it with another GTX 560Ti 448.

As per the Nvidia spec sheet
    Quote:
2b - A GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 Cores GPU must be paired with another GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 Cores GPU (graphics card manufacturer can be different).
  3. the 448 is hard to find that's why I was asking.

That's why I don't recommend the "buy one now and SLi later" approach. Many people do though and now you know why I'll always disagree with them.
  5. I just got my 448 off of the egg for $200 I was wanting to buy another one for sli. ebay wants 250 and up for the same card. I could sell mine on ebay for $300 that would make me a $100.LOL
  6. Should I SLI it or buy a 660ti ?
  7. Keep in mind that you must have a decent psu within ~750W for two 560 ti 448, the 660 ti might be a good choice, since it's hard to find another 560 ti 448, and the price you might pay for it might not be worth it, you can sell the card to cut down a bit the cost of the 660 ti.
  8. 560 448's should not be that much on ebay. i have an msi twin frozr 3 im replacing with a 7950 tf3 so i will be throwing my 560 448 on ebay and i hope to get like $120 at least for it
  9. Keep the card i will buy it from you be about 2 months. I have a monster corsair HX1050 PSU therefor I can run almost anything. I have a twinfrozer 3 my self. I waiting for the launch of the swiftech H220 I am buying it then it's 560ti 448 sli time.

  11. no. but with another same card yes.
  12. Why do you want to SLI? The 560ti 448 Cores is a perfectly capable card as is.
  13. maybe he wants more performance
  14. yeah, two 560 448's in sli will be slightly faster than a 680/7970ghz
