Ok I will be buying a new gaming computer on the 20th but I am totally lost. I want to be able to play Battlefield 3 on ultra, Crysis 3 on at least high at Planetside 2 on high to ultra all with decent frame rates.

The only problem is I have no idea where to start or what to get. I know it is a heck of a lot cheaper to buy the parts and there is a place in my town that will build it for $50.00.

But I have no idea what parts to get.

I know I want Intel and everybody I talked too was leaning towards the 660 ti or 670 but some others say the 7970 is the way to go.

I also heard that Ibuypower isn't that bad and neither is some other companies that build it like Canada Computers and Ncix.

Any suggestions or builds that you would recommend? (Must be Canadian pricing)

My budget is between $1000-$1600 and the only things I don't need are a mouse and keyboard.

Thanks :)

This is a full build for $1600. You can go cheaper on some parts if you want.

Some time, a little bit of research and you'd be good to go, there are tons of guides and such if you google it, I suggest you build it yourself, its not as hard as it sounds. You'll appreciate the job you did after, but it can turn into a bit of an obsession after lol

As for Graphics card the the 7970 is a faster card you just miss out on a few things from nvidia like phsyx. Personally I switched from nvidia to amd and I miss nvidia because its just more reliable in my opinion.

I don't plan on overclocking but keep in mind this is my first build so any and all input would be great thanks
