Questions on ASUS 660 and PNY 660 Ti

Hello,
I wanted to know if there was a particular reason this ASUS gtx 660 DC2T version is discontinued from Newegg:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Is it unreliable? Is the only difference between this card and the DC2O model the clock/boost clock speed?

Also, it seems like there is a PNY 660 Ti available for $220 (after mail-in-rebate). Is this is a good deal? What do people think of this brand? Thank you very much.

Newegg put it as discontinued rather than temporarily out of stock, just so people don't keep emailing them when it comes back in stock and what not. They have done it before.

660ti for $220 is a heck of a deal, but its a reference cooler isn't it? That is basically a trade off, but yes, that is a ripper of a deal.

Hey,
Thank you for your responses so far. Yes, it is a reference cooler it seems. This is one reason why I'm asking the community of their opinion to figure out whether it's worth it :) . The link you gave me is a relatively low price, but still quite a bit more than a 660, which is more in my budget.

Between a cheap (in price) 660 Ti and a high end 660 i would choose the 660 Ti every time 10 of 10.
