I had several problems with synching my T3 and did a hard reset. This did
not work.
I then un-installed the Palm Desktop software and tried to re-install it but
it will not work.
It begins to install and then freezes. So now I have a T3 which I can do
nothing with.
I have tried to install other non-Palm software and this worked ok.

Hi Pat.
To begin with, it would help to specify what operating system you are
using. You could also try describing what screen in show when the
installation freezes. Do you have anti-virus sofware (or anything else)
running during the software install? If so, then disable it before you
run the install. Have you used the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS in the CONTROL
PANEL to see if there might still be an entry for the Palm Deskop? Have
you tried booting in SAFE mode, and then doing a normal boot and
shutdown? Sometimes, when you uninstall software, it is necessary to
reboot the computer to clean the results of the uninstall.
What error messages did you get with you tried to hotsync with you T3
and it would not work? If you have not already done so, you should go
to the PALM website and check search the technical database to see if
there are any matches for the errors that you were getting.
