Ever since I bought this damn thing, I've had trouble. First it wasn't recognized, then it wouldn't format and now I've gotten to the point where I can partition, benchmark and write files to it, but I can't install windows 7 Ultimate on it. Booting from the disk, I get to the custom installation, highlight disk 0 part 1 (after system reserved) and click next. Copying windows files happens almost instantly, then expanding windows files gets stuck at 0% for a minute or two then hits 1% and an error message comes up that says something like "could not install windows because not all necessary files are available. "
I have installed a few times on an HDD with no problems.
I have an AMD Chipset(ASUS M5A97), SATA III 6 GB/s, AHCI is enabled and always has been.
Do I need a driver for my SSD?
I tried downloading an update for the installation as well (boot from HDD, running installation disk), which ended in the same result.
Any ideas?
