OK, I know it's older than an old thing, but it works and does all I
need..... BUT

After a trip to Eire last week I noticed that there is an arrow in the
display up where the Lock & text recieved icons appear.

its left to right horazontal then up to top right with an arrow head.

Any ideas what it is, and more importantly, how to make it go away!!!!

Thanks!!

Martin

Sounds like the symbol for unconditional call diverts. Have you set any
diverts recently..?

So try cancelling all diverts, does that work..? Are you able to receive
calls..? What network are you on..?

You have uncondtional forwarding activated. Cancel all forwarding and
the arrow should go away.

I would think it is a divert icon also...

However, take phone and charger down The Link.
Buy a new 3410 on cheapest 'pay and go' and trade in your own - but retain
your SIMCARD!
Unlock the 3410 using a code or through a cable - very easy to do!
Use your old SIM card with the new phone and have all old numbers to hand!

3410:
- 200 slot phone memory
- Latest RELIABLE firmware 5.42 (type *#0000# as if to make a call)
- Light battery - replaces the 3310 one which is huge and probably reaching
unreliable charges
- Some new games
- WAP
- Java (can then run a superb Java Nokia unlock calc from my site)
- Totally redesign the phone with LogoManager (using the same cables that
unlock the phone).
- I like making the screensavers!!! :)  / free ringtone uploads / send
via LM ringtones / backup phonebook (3310 is buggy).
- Nice clock screensaver and alarm and stopwatch
- Reminder notes
- 3410s are stupidly priced now and you save £10 with 3310 trade-in and one
of the best Nokias for simplicity and just the phone part!!! My favourite
Nokia to date. Excellent for the old, students etc due to the silly prices
of.

no i don't!!!!!

all forwarding is off. I still get calls from landlines and mobiles and I
can call both and send & recieve texts, so the OPERATION isn't upset in any
way, it just has this daft wee arrow!!!!

As for BUYING another phone? no chance!! I'm cheap and I'm proud!!!

Martin

A similar thing happened on my daughters 3410 when she recently
visited Italy. The divert symbol appeared as soon as her phone
registered on the Italian network but when she returned to the UK it
remained. Because diverts are not allowed on Orange PAYG, the menu
to de-activate diverts is hidden but like yours call are not actually
being diverted.
