I5 3570k processor, 219$
Asrock z77 extreme 4 mobo 124$
kingston hyper x 16gb ram 84$
kingston hyper x ssd 128gb - $114
Radeon hd 7950 graphics - 299$
1tb Seagate hdd 7200 rpm (x2) 156$
Rosewill Blackbone Mid tower case - $49
Corsair 700w Power Supply $79
Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo Heatsink/fan $29
Lite-on Ihas 124-04 DL burner $17
Asus 27" Monitor $239 (sale)

Solid performer!! Just follow these guildlines, you dont necissarily need these exact parts, 16gb rams, ssd for operating system, hdd with storage capacity for ur 200gb files, fast processor.. 4cores new generation or more.. Amd or intel doesnt matter much when doing big files, Both perform well. the video card isnt top of the line, but its $299, not $439.. and can be overclocked to top of the line performance, - The z77 board has new chipset and is compatible with crossfire later

do you have a site i can buy from not good at building pcs (clumsy) :)

If you can install RAM, HD, and/or GPU you can build your own system for much less or have a better system for the same amount of $ from an online builder.

Which country are you buying from?

You say 1500 - 1000, so is it from $1k to $1.5k?

i live in the uk so £1000 to £1500

Here you go:

180
Intel Core i5 3570K Quad Core IvyBridge Processor Retail with Heat Sink Fan

80
Asus P8Z77-V LX Intel Z77 Socket 1155 USB 3.0 Motherboard

223
XFX HD7950 Double Dissipation AMD/ATI Graphics Card - 3GB

51
Seagate ST31000524AS 1TB Hard Drive SATA 3 7200rpm 8ms OEM

154
Crucial RealSSD M4 256GB - Solid State Drive - CT256M4SSD2

42
Corsair Memory Vengeance Jet Black Low Profile 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 9 XMP Dual Channel Desktop

65
Corsair Carbide 300R Mid-Tower Gaming Case No PSU

36
XFX P1-450S-X2B9 Pro Series Core Edition 450W Power Supply (PSU)

14
24x DVD+/-RW from Liteon IHAS124-04 OEM Black SATA Quiet

Total, including VAT: ~855!!!

* CPU best performance for the $
* Mobo has all that you should need, including some good OC'ing down the road if you have a desire to do that.
* RAM is good w/1600 mHz speed, CAS 9 timings, & at 1.5v (stock voltage).
* GPU is good for the $ and if you want more GPU power you can go up to the 7970, but IMHO the 7950 is one of the better values for the $.
* Case is one of the best for the $ too and will hold any GPU out there on the market.
* PSU is plenty for your needs. If you want more PSU power than I would go with the 550w Pro version.
