So, I'm doing my first build, for gaming in particular, and I have some parts picked out already and am just wondering if they will work well together and if the gaming rig as a whole should function well.

I'm probably not going to end up doing SLI or Crossfire or overclocking, though I might in the future, and I think this setup would fit well for that.
But basically I'm just wondering if this is a good gaming rig I could build, or if I'm making a mistake with any of the choices I made.

I'm getting a:

I really don't like the XFX version of that video card, it's very noisy and the thermals aren't that great either. It was the card I had before my current one, got rid of it within a month. Stick with the Gigabyte version, it's cheaper (admittedly without the rebate, but I think $20 is more than fair for the trouble you're saving yourself), much quieter and has better temperatures: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125414 Just look at the cons on the latest couple of comments for the XFX, nearly everyone mentions the "loud coil whine" or "loud under full load" or whatever. If you use headphones a lot this might not be such an issue, but bear in minds friends over Skype were complaining of the noise to me during gaming sessions.

Also Rosewill PSUs can be dodgy, I'd definitely go with a Seasonic, for example this one will last you through any single card setup: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151095 . Don't go SLI or Crossfire unless you have more than one monitor or something like that, it's really not worth the hassle, noise, expense and issues, the performance of a single 7950 is very high.

Otherwise solid build.
