CABLE...DSL? CABLE? DSL!! arrggg!!

HELP!! i cant decided on whether to get dsl or cable. both being the basic service for home use.. which is faster and more reliable... everyone keeps saying cable, but im like no i think dsl is better and faster? can someone shed some light on this please???

well this varies a lot depending on where you live. some ISPs are good and some are bad. over here they're about the same. i'm using cable now... i don't seem to have much problems with it, same with my dad's office's dsl line. the only difference... which isn't all important but well worth mentioning... cable's cable is thicker and harder to manage than dsl... so for someone like me who might move the computer around the house, telephone cables are more easily managed. just my 2 cents

I agree without doubt that it depends on your location. In my very area on the west coast of Canada, ADSL is the one that pulls ahead.
