I am running Vista 32bit and I want to create a second partition and install Windows 7 64bit on there. Is that possible? And if it is, is it possible to then delete the Vista partition so my hard drive is whole again with all the free space for Windows 7? Thanks!
yes it is possible. but why go to all that trouble just to delete the vista partition? why not just back up whatever you need to keep and then just start fresh?

Um I thought this was the only way since I don't have a DVD burner or a large enough USB flash drive. What did you have in mind?

Ya I went to my friend's to burn the dvd but the file was corrupt and everything was going wrong. I just went out and got a 4gb flash drive and installed it from there. Thanks though guys.
