Hello,

I have a Asus Motherboard and would like to upgrade my ram and video card. Below is a link to the motherboard that I currently use right now. I know it is an old one, lol. I have a 256mb video card and would like to upgrade it to a 1gb+ video card so that i can play microsoft flight sim x at somewhat maxxed out graphics i would also like to upgrade my ram from 2gb to 4gb if it isnt to terribly expensive. If I can utilize my current motherboard, what graphics card and ram would you guys reccommend? I am also currently using Windows XP SP3. Thank you for any help provided.

Welcome George, you need to pick a budget.

I also need to know which CPU you have now, and what power supply.

I would say as well that you must upgrade from XP. It is simply too vulnerable to malware and does not support modern hardware in many instances.

There doesn't appear to be an English site for the motherboard specs, but the listing is in English, just not the Overview.

You can have up to 8gb of ram but you only need as much as 4gb for XP x32, it won't read al of the 4gb but you might get as much as 3.5gb
2 x2gb @800mhz would be best.

You have to get a video card that is XP compliant.

Better to get a Nvidia video card, works better with Asus.
