will a 6670 or 5770 run(be recognised) on a pciex16 gen 1.0 ...
should i bet my money on it..?
does someone have any personal experience running a 6670 or a 5770 on a pciex16 gen1.0
I have a decent psu... so pwer specification is not a concern ...
pls help..
graphic card description:
sapphire radeon 6670 1gb gddr5
or sapphire radeon 5770 1gb gddr5
(the main reason of concern is that I have read some posts where people said that some ati graphic cards have problem being recognised on a mobo with pcie x16 gen 1.0)

PC specs:
cpu: dual core e2180 2.0 ghz
mobo: foxconn irvine gl6e
ram: 2gb ddr2
psu: corsair cx 430v2
hdd: 320gb sata

More about : 6670 5770 pcie x16 gen

You wont get the full bandwidth of PCIe 2.1 but it should still run

In theory it will work.but it depends on mobo's bios update.give us bios update page of your mobo website.

As opaz1ka stated, you won´t get the full bandwith but is supposed to work, I had a hd 6850 in a pci-e 1.0 board once, and the card ran without problems.
