I've always wanted to see "The Dark Knight Returns" made into a movie. IIRC, this one is based off of Frank Miller's "Year One" but I'm not for sure.

Batman and Robin was the biggest pile of shite I've had the displeasure to watch in many a year. Batgirl. Do me a favour. Utter bollocks. What next, Batdog? BatAlfred? Shite.

The only saving grace in that film was Arnie hamming it up. The whole series went tits up after Batman Returns.

Now that was television! Played to both levels, children for the slapstick aspect, and adults for the in-jokes and double entendres. I love that bit where he just reaches into his utility belt and whips out the shark repellant. I mean, just what every crime fighter needs in Gotham City!

Same here, they always seem to re-run it during the schools summer holidays. Try and catch it if I can if I'm not at work. Best thing on during the day. Not hard really. All that TV for women *shudders*, urrggh!

I loved the old Batman TV show. Over Christmas break I was at Walmart with my brother and found the movie in the $5 bin and picked it up. Adam West is the best Batman EVER!

I feel you pain Mike, been wearing mine for nearly three weeks and I hate it. The only god send is that I can get a drinking straw down the cast to scratch my forearm with. Anyway, I'm cutting this damn thing off Thursday. To hell with it, I'll just strap my arm quite heavily.

Did you get the crutches to go with the cast, or are you having to freestyle it? Crutches suck. They offered me them when I came out of the hospital and I told them to shove them. Goddamn things, used them once before when I was in the army and I badly sprained my ankle. Stuck them for about an hour before I threw them out and hopped about for a couple of days.
