I bought Win7, loaded it a couple of weeks ago , now it's saying that it's not a genuine copy??????? and it wants me to Authenticate. I did that but it still says it's not a genuine copy???????. can you help pls

Please check the time and date that is shown in the bottom right hand corner of your Windows 7 screen display or XP if that is what you are using. For security reasons, you will not be able to authenticate with an incorrect date in the bios setting. You can reset it on your screen or in the bios.

Great suggestion; I believe that can also work for Windows Updates as well.
