HD 8000 series

Good day people,
Now I am aware of AMD releasing a new HD 8000 series which interests me (especially the HD 8870), however there is little hype around it and I'm unsure of what is happening...
Does anyone have any details on it; release dates, specs etc?

There isn't much news on the 8000 series.
There are some possible leaked documents

But I would expect that we will see new geforce and radeon cards 1st quarter this year. But remember, with video cards you will often not know exactly what a card is until it is released. Cards kind of just seem to appear on the market.
