I play a lot of games and I'm currently using Galaxy Geforce 660ti 3GB. I will be buying a new monitor soon at a resolution of 2560x1440 I was wondering if this would effect my game play at all or will I need to SLI.

P.S. I am currently running games at maximum settings with my 1920x1080 monitor

Games such as:
Metro 2033
Max Payne 3
Battlefield 3

As a rule the higher, the resolution of the display output the more demand it will put on your 660 Ti graphics card, you notice a frame rate drop in games. SLI may be the way to go for you. But if you do this you may have to up rate your power supply unit to cope with the extra graphics card in the system to keep things running nicely depending on the Psu and it wattage ect.
