I'm wanting to buy a graphics card for 300$ or less that will play all new games very, very well. (60+, if that's possible). Games like Gw2, Skyrim, BF3 , DmC etc.
My current setup :
CPU : intel i5 3450 3.1ghz turbo boost 3.5ghz
GPU : HIS 7770 ghz edition GDDR5
MOBO: Intel B75 Express Chipset
PSU: Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 500w Power Supply

Monitor is 1600x900

I was thinking of buying the EVGA GeForce GTX 660Ti SUPERCLOCKED 2048MB GDDR5?

unless you're putting in a copious amount of high res mods or trying to run some of the more graphically demanding games at the highest setting with comprome not being an option, the 660ti's memory bandwidth issue isn't exactly a big issue. while fps may lag slightly behind over the 7950, at least it's priced quite well, never mind consistency of the frame rate sans driver update.

while the 7950 does perform slightly better than the 660ti in pure, raw fps, the recent driver updates fixing the GCN latency issue is still a work in progress, so a bit of patience for more driver updates, should you notice the stuttering in frame rate in some games, is required (better than no progress, at least). another plus side though is the memory bandwidth; higher graphics settings/more mods = less performance drop. great if you plan to upgrade to a 1080p/1600p monitor.

at 1600x900, either will do you really good, if not too much. for the price, though, if you can get the rebate, i like what i see with Asus' 660ti.
