hi guys, i just got my Creative Sound Blaster live! 5.1 from newegg.com, for a $32, good value.
But here is my problem, i insert the sound card and setup the newest driver. since i have a 5.1 speaker system (Klipsch Promedia 5.1), so i go to the AudioHQ and set the speaker as 5.1, it works fine.
After this, every time i restart my PC, and try play some music, there is no sound from the rear speakers, so i go back to the AudioHQ and check the speaker, but it's set to 5.1 already. i have to set it once again to 5.1 or 4 everytime i restart my Windows XP in order to get the rear speaker working....
i am really tired of this.. any idea?

I have the same problem with the newest driver on Creative's site. Get a older drive.

I don't think Creative makes any drivers that actually work right...

I have been using my SB Live for almost 3 year. All the driver except the newest one on their web works fine.

mine is not working good i installed "SBL_VTDRV_LB_2_10_0001A.exe" this file before my sound card wasnt work now its working but Read speakers are not working :( i dont know what ineed todo :( i cant stop to use windows seven .anyone have idea about it?
