Help me to choose the correct gaming graphics card

processor i5 3470 3.2ghz
mobo Gigabyte B75M-D3H
monitor resolution : 1366x768

As i will be gaming on a resolution of 1366x768 .. what would be the best card for this resolution. I want to play battlefield 3, crysis 2, witcher2, metro etc game on ultra settings on that resolution. So that at least i can play at high settings for the next 2-3 years. so please suggest a budget gaming graphics card for my pc.
I will not change my monitor in next 2-3 years.
I do not like to overclock.

Please also suggest the budget psu for the card.
650ti is not available right now in our country.
I am from Bangladesh.

Not sure if you can get them, but the 7850 and the 7770 are great for the price.
  2. Yeah, I wouldn't get much stronger than a 7850 with that resolution.
  3. Yep, I saw the Sapphire HD 7770 max out BF3 at that resolution and getting upto 50 fps. I actually had both cards ( GTX 650 Ti and HD 7770) both cards are arguably the same in "Actual" performance. I would suggest the GTX 650 Ti though

If both cards are the same, why would you recommend the one that costs more? I'm pretty sure the 650ti is a little stronger, but if you are gonna get the 650ti, you might as well just spend the few extra dollars for a 7850. Also to Bigcyo, we are talking about a 650ti budget, I don't think he could afford that, and if he can a 7870 is a better option.
  5. Because he might want to paly games like Assassin's Creed later on and Adaptive Vsync is not available on AMD cards. PHys X , he might want to use it for photo editing ( GeForce is better ) and besides I have lesser problems with GTX 650 Ti. Like I said.. The Actual performance as I have tried it. Not benchmarks
  6. Also the 650ti isn't even available, so his best option is the 7770. I can play assassin's creed fine with my 7950...
From what I read, adaptive vsync seems like it has a lot of problems.
  7. 7870 - best price to performance ratio out of all the cards out right now
  8. I'm pretty sure it's the 7850.
  9. At that resolution you'll be able to play those games all on max settings (besides Ubersampling in the Witcher 2) with a 7850 and it should give you decent performance in the future.
  10. the low resolution asked for, means he can go with a 7770 or 7850 just fine... really he might even be able to use a freakin' 7750 or 6670 with that resolution.

I would say a 7850 would be the best option if you want it to last for 3 years at that resolution. The 7770 should be fine for a while as well.

I'm not having any problem with adaptive vsync at all. If 650 Ti is not available then HD 7770 would be good. Assassin's creed tends to favor Nvidia cards
  13. thanks all. i would definitely go for the 7770 . if possible i will try to buy 7850.
gigabyte 7770 is cheaper than the sapphire one. is gigabyte ok ?
and for 7850 which manufacturer do u guys suggest ?
  14. MY brother has had 3 sapphire cards and I have one. So I'm a little biased for them as they have always been good. But I think gigabyte is good, based on what I've read.
  15. Mine is Gigabyte from motherboard to videocard and im using it since 2008 and i dont find any problem. ^_^
  16. please tell the specification of a budget psu needed for 7850.
which brand i should buy ?
