hey guys i was reading a thread about computer issues with the possibility of hardware. I keep getting the same crash usually when I am playing CS: GO or watching movies.

My computer will completely freeze with whatever is on the screen, the mouse cannot move I cannot control alt delete, even when playing games in windowed mode, yet I had skype running in the background and I can still talk to my friend and he can hear me and I can hear him...the only thing I can do to get out of this frozen state is hold my power button and restart the computer.

Here's my computers specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1

Intel Core 2 Extreme CPU X9650 @ 3.00GHz 3.00GHz
Ram 4.00 GB
64 bit operating system
(x2) nVidia 9800 GX2 with SLI bridge

I always have EVGA Precision running to monitor fan speeds and GPU Clock and Memory Clock speeds and tempuratures, I also have Core Temp and here are the specs on everything when The computer crashed as I could still see what they said when my comp froze:

CORE 2 EXTREME
CLOCK 3000MHz (333x9.0)
VID 1.2500V - TjMAX 100degrees Celsius (adjustable)
Ram used 1477 / 4095
c0 - 31 degrees Celsius
c1 - 37 degrees Celsius
c2 - 36 degrees Celsius
c3 - 36 degrees Celsius

EVGA PRECISION X
GPU CLOCK 601 MHz
VOLTAGE 1150 MV

9800 GX2
GPU TEMP - 73 degrees celsius
FAN SPEED - 66%
Memory clock - 1000MHz

9800 GX2
GPU TEMP - 76 degrees celsius
FAN SPEED - 68%
Memory clock - 1000MHz

Thanks

Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.
