GPU HIS 7770 ghz edition GDDR5
MOBO: Intel B75 Express Chipset
8GB SDRAM DDR3
1024 GB 7200 rpm Hard Drive
Windows 8
PSU: Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 500w Power Supply

Monitor is 1600x900

The card I want is the EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW edition.

  1. I recommend switching the psu, that one is not good, it has 500w, it will power the card.

    With 40-60% of the load(which will have about that), it has high levels of ripple and noise.
    This might cause crashes,bsods, throttling of the gpu.

    Can anyone recommend me a cheap, good 600 watt psu?
  3. Get corsair cx 600w psu.it can handle gtx 670 easily.you are good to go.
  4. You might get away with it, but I would not try.

    1. EVGA recommends a 500w psu with 32a on the +12v rails. Your psu advertises only 30, and it has only one 6 pin connector.
    2. Your psu is a tier 4 unit on this list with the caveat to plan on using only 75% of the advertised wattage.
