Few of us were getting old laptops together with which we LAN through Ethernet (cables leading to a hub) at Regattas.
Unfortunately some of the older laptops don't exactly have Ethernet ports, just wondering if, and what the options are in terms of getting them connected. Are there simply usb/ethernet adapters which could work for networking?

Thanks for your reply, I might not have been specific enough in the question.
Laptop is a IMB THINKPAD 600X . Safe to say its between 10-15 years old. Running Windows 2000 NT. Have taken your advice and made the modest investment in an adapter, currently having driver issues though. Should I return the product or is there a driver to download which could help.

If the adapter doesn't have a set of drivers in the package, visit the manufacturer's website and you can download a compatible driver from the support section of their site. If you have any trouble with that simply post a link of the adapter you bought and I will help you out.
