Can't update my videocard

Hello, i updated my Nvidia GeForce 8400m G. than I restarted my laptop and my laptop didn't open. so i had to log in with the safe-mode and delete the software. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I HAVE TO DO

Did you uninstall your old drivers before reinstalling the new ones?

From safe mode uninstall your 8400 graphic drivers and restart the computer.
Try the update again.

Safe mode with networking -> update windows

Revert back to the latest drivers available from your laptop manufacturer. Standard drivers from NVidia/AMD are often incompatible with the specially tweaked graphic cards laptop manufacturers use.
