Did I cause permanent damage to my GPU?

My graphics card (GTX 680) has been having some issues recently (loss of connection error, driver fails) and HWMonitor reads it's temperatures at up to 78 degrees Celsius. Should I be worried? Have I caused damage to my GPU?

Well, you shouldn't have because the max temps for a 680 are 98C. Try reinstalling the drivers and if that doesn't work, try reinstalling windows.
