Hey guys, I have a MSI GTX 680 Lightning and started having weird problems with it. I recently got back from vacation and installed the 310.90 drivers. After that, I started getting screen freezes, BSOD's, computer not going into windows at all and only in safe mode. I tried everything to fix it by downgrading, removing everything NVIDIA. Nothing seemed to work. So I finally just gave in and re-installed windows. After that I installed the 310.64 beta drivers since I knew those worked well. Now I always feel like im getting lower FPS in games than before, especially Battlefield 3. I sometimes hit 45 FPS in operation metro at max settings. I even remain below 60 if I look at a large open space at all. Then I tried to run heaven benchmark at all max settings.
On my first try I got this:
I was very worried because the normal is around 45 FPS average and I got such a low score. Then I restarted my computer, and to my surprise I got this score:
Just to make sure, I ran it again and surprisingly enough I got this score:
Then I restarted my computer again, and I got this score:
This is starting to worry me and need help finding out what the problem is. I ran MSI afterburner on some of the runs and everything seemed fine, my usage was at 99% and my clocks were normal. Im on the LN2 bios if that helps at all. Nothing is overclocked ATM. Except my motherboard automatically overclocks my CPU to 4.2 when I do something intensive.
My system specs are as follows:
GTX 680 Lightning 2GB VRAM
16GB Corsair RAM
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212
