Medical Research Programming on ATI Catalyst

Hi, I just deleted a program on my computer that was a "medical research tool" (the words on the accompanying website)... re: the ATI products. Do you have any information on this? (It also used the term "genetic programming")

  1. I think what you are talking about is Folding@Home.

    It's protein folding software that is submitted to Stanford (I believe).
    This is because as far as computing goes, graphics cards can currently outdo several home grade computers (2.0 Teraflops [5870] vs 52 Gigaflops [i7 920 @ 3.2ghz]).
