I was thinking about purchasing a set of Logitech Z560 for $140. I dont have a sound card only the sound connectors on the motherboard. Would the sound card have that much sound difference. If it would what would be a good card to buy.

I think you'd be wasting your money if you didn't buy a new soundcard as well. I think the soundcard integrated to your motherboard don't have a support for 5.1. Z560 is a 4.1 system, right? So I think you need a 5.1 card to support your system. Otherwise you would only be able to take advantage of only 2 speakers + subwoofer. Soundblaster live! 5.1 is a very cheap solution for the problem if you don't need an expensive card. Live! 5.1 has digital output so it's suitable for any analog/digital multispeaker system.

True. But Z560s will use all 4 speakers if he only has 2point sound from the computer through its M3D emulation which works quite well.

I would recommend at least a $15 SB Live! though.
