MY COMPUTER HAS HOME XP AND THE OTHER HAS
WINDOWS 2000. I DONT WANT TO UPGRADE THE
WINDOWS 2000 TO XP CAUSE IT WILL SLOW THE COMPUTER.

First, lose the CAPS. That's considered shouting on the Internet and will
draw ire from others. This newsgroup supports Microsoft's Broadband
Networking hardware and software, not networking in general - there are
other groups for that on the Microsoft newsgroups - but you may want to look
up Microsoft MVP Barb Bowman's networking columns at the Expert Zone in my
signature line. They're informative, well-written and contain a whole lot
of information. Another excellent source of information is at
www.practicallynetworked.com. --
