AMD 6950 Driver problem 12.9 and above

I'm currently at driver 12.8 because its the most stable one for me, after trying to upgrade to the latest which "was" 12.9 it gave me this kind of image

So I waited and tried 13.1, the same thing happened

I can't go beyond 12.8 because everytime I try to upgrade my driver it gives me this kind of display.

Anyone knows what the problem is and how I can fix it?

Hmm, very odd. So with the new 13.1 drivers you get this display. If its driver related I'm at a loss. I don't know how that would be even usable with the rainbow messing with your eyes.

Basically every driver above 12.8 gives me this kind of display.

Very very odd. I'm really curious what others would have to say but I would contact the maker of your card on Monday and ask them whats up. You have picture proof you haven't done any overclocking I'm sure just updating drivers to that mess.

NO OCing done to my GPU. It just happens everytime I update
