More about settings safe
  1. cant say, use a program to monitor temperatures
  2. Check the gpu temperatures with gpu-z.
If it's way above 90c then you should worry, if not you're fine.
  3. And a side word of thumb, playign gw2 at the moment, the one setting that affects fps the most is reflections I believe, so if you dont have that turned off, then its the one which gives the most fps change.(GW2 is a cpu bound game, i questioned how much cpu it takes to actually run the game on ultra on my i3+7850, at the starting metrica provice story for Asura, my FPS went from like32 > 55 just by changing reflections: all to reflections: terrain and sky only). Partially concluding that reflections eat up a good amount of the gpu and cpu power.
  4. I would be extremely, EXTREMELY surprised if those numbers are accurate.

An i5-3570k and a GTX 670 struggle to get 60fps on ultra when both are overclocked.

As for if you're safe from overheating, how do you expect to tell that from your framerate?
  5. more stress on the gpu..as many learned from the Legend of Grimrock..

They don't have a framerate limiter for nothing in game. :ouch:
  7. If they ain't accurate it's gw2's fault for giving them
  8. true
