Is this card going to run Planetside 2?

Will an AMD radeon HD 7770 run Planetside 2 at atleast 30 fps in big battles?
I will be using a i5 3470k and 8 gigs or ram.
Has anyone tried? Or will i need to get a better card?

easily, I use a 550 ti which performs a bit lower then your and I nevber go below 30 fps on very high at 1920X1080

well, that'd kinda go over my budget. So i might stick with a GTX 650 ti or a HD 7770. Thanks.

So would it be better if i went with a GTX 660? i can do that but i'd have to get a cheaper CPU like an FX 6100, but knowing how
horribly optimized this game is, it might be limiting the frames.

GTX 660 and FX 6300, if you're going for AMD CPUs. It has the best value.

well, nvidia is better for planetside than amd. i know that much. im not really sure about the affect of various cpus on the game though.

Thanks but you said single? im not doing SLi, i dont even think it can do sli, but i saw a video of PS2 running on a GTX 650 ti and he got like 14-25 fps?
Srry if im asking too much but will it run at 30 fps in big battles? And a 560 is a good bit better? :s

You won't be playing at the highest settings, maybe some med-high. A GTX 660 is capable of playing it at the highest settings with acceptable framerate, if it's parred with a decent CPU.

I would say a FX6300 and GTX660 would be the best combo. You should be able to max it out on that
