Looking for a VGA to Dual Link DVI-I adapter?

Ok so... I have a hd 6670 ddr3 graphics card that supports dual link dvi i. the problem is, my monitor only supports vga and dual link dvi d. i've tried a few adapters and later learned that they can only be connected together with converter boxes? can anyone tell me where i can get these and tell me on that you can get on a budget?

another side question is can i use an hdmi cable to connect my monitor and the 6670?
