I am working on a technics SA-GX550. I got it in with the amp going into
protect. I soldered it up, and it was better. BUT, it still goes into
protect anything above a moderate volume. It sounds good, and the
waveforms look ok. The voltages look ok too. I swapped the surround
SVI3206 IC with the main IC and the symptoms did not change (same chip,
with the surround off). It seems to be prematurely going into shutdown.
Unless both chips have a problem, there seems to be some issue on the
main board causing this. Any ideas on what to check on this?
