What can i do with a black screen???

Hello,
I need i advice about solving my problem in hp dv2500 screen , i connected it to TV LCD several time ,however , with times the screen went off since one week , i connected it with external monitor the desktop appeared ,i examined the RAM , HD , and the are OK , SO WHAT CAN I DO ??
I NEED A HELP ...

Try replacing the LCD inverter.
