alright thanks for the advice im going to see if i can talk the person down a bit if not and i cant get the money ill get the 570 ive heard its not a bad card
On an earlier thread the OP was ecstatic he could get a used 570 for $155,
so either way I think you do well here.
i found a couple of offers on craigslist for a used evga 670 ftw for 275 or a used 570 for 100
The performance boost is pretty big, a 570 for 100 bucks is a really good deal. Their both good cards and the 670 defiantly beats the 570, but the 100$ the 570 is a really good deal.
probably not. But the 570 is really going to be showing it's age next year. If it isn't the 2.5gb model, which I doubt it is. You will get a lot of ram bottlenecks.

If you're willing to wait and save up some more over the next few weeks. I would wait for the next 700/8000 series cards. 670 released at 499$ and I'm sure AMD's flagships will release cheaper than that. But yeah the 570 is not a bad card and to be honest if your planning on not buying another card for a couple more years then I would spend the extra money on the 670.
