I have an Asus Radeon HD 6670 2GB it has DVI, VGA and HDMI. I've read online I can do a tri-monitor set up but I can't figure out how, I can only have 2 active monitors at one time and it's because of Eyefinity and Displayport but how can I use 3 monitors if I don't have a Displayport adapter?

The actual Eyefinity website said it was possible but didn't explain how.

You need 3 monitors, they need to be capable of DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.

I have two of mine (side ones) plugged in; one into DVI and the other into DisplayPort.
The HDMI runs from the back of the card into an Onkyo cinema amplifier which then outputs to the central monitor via HDMI. I get the full 5.1 sound available through HDMI too :)

Nice set up. :)

So I'm guessing I need to have DisplayPort on my GPU?

It appears that this card does not support 3x monitors. However to make 100% sure I'd expect you'll need to check the specs or contact the manufacturer.

With respect, that's a fairly low end card and I doubt it has the horsepower to shift 3 screens worth of gaming around (obviously depending on what you're doing).
