NVIDIA or Radeon?

I don't know to much about graphics cards. Are NVIDIA and AMD cards compatibly with both intel and AMD motherboards? If so is a GTX 560 better than Radeon 7770 and Radeon 7850?

Setup:
Asus M5A97 AM3+
Amd Fx-4100 (3.6GHz)
G.Skill 2x4Gb Ram (1600)
Antec NEO ECO 620W
Cooler Master HAF 912

Thanks!

  1. They are both compatible yes. Also it looks like the 560 non ti is stronger then a 7770.

  2. Okay, thanks for that benchmark. How does this look: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121446

Or should I go with a 7770 since I'm on a budget and plan on playing 1366x768? I'm stuck on what GPU to pick been deciding for about a week....... Lol

Hi - If you are going to be gaming, then go for the better performance,
    the gtx 560.
  4. What about this? 5 dollars cheaper than the 560 Ti. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161426
