1stly this is my 1st post so i wud like to say hey to every one here at Tom's Hardware Guide

i own a 17" TFT which turns on for 3seconds and then the backlight turns off, looking closely into it u can see the OS. Sometimes when i turn the VDU on it flashes a message 'out of timing'
has anyone experienced this problem before? is it fixable? it is under a year old and i can send it back but am intruiged to what is up....

info on this problem wud b appreciated
