hi guys , im new here. I've got a question to ask for which component should i upgrade? gpu or cpu?
im thinking of playing and making a video for games like bf3,crysis 3 , skyrim and other games. im gonna record it using fraps and i would want a good fps in 1920x1080p preferably in max setting if possible.

my current rig:
i5 2400 stock
gtx 560ti with arctic cooling
asus p8h77-v
8 gb ram kingston 1600mhz
windows 7 64bit.

More about : 2400 gtx 560 1gb

You cpu should be fine, maybe upgrade you if gpu you don't like the settings and fps, but recording you should look at your configuration, which drive is os, gaming, recording, type of drives, recording settings, etc. Might be a larger difference in the end.

Upgrade the gpu for a 660ti/670 gtx.
The cpu is fine, the 660 ti/670 gtx will offer a significant boost in performance.

For skyrim, bf3 not much of a problem but if you want to get high fps on crysis 3 you'll need to upgrade the graphics card. You can get GTX670 or HD7950 which will provide you fps between 35-55 I think in crysis 3. The requirement of crysis 3 is very high so you need the fast card. Recording using fraps will decrease your frame rate by 2-10fps.
My advice get a HD7950 and overclock it
Also overclock your processor

i'd get the 660 ti, it comes with a game(borderlands 2) it has about the same performance as the 7950, the msi pe overclocks really well.

It will be a natural upgrade, it's a good card for 1080p, it can max out most of the games out there.
