The screen did not come with a DVI, which is very odd considering on acer website it does ;(
So the problem is that every time my computer (most likely cpu) processes something (steam, video, chrome, etc.) the screen goes to sleep mode. It happens constantly every 2 seconds. If i move my mouse, the screen dies.
The converter works fine and is not the problem (not damaged)
The wire is also working (brand new)
Updated to latest version of Nvidia drivers
Disabled and re-enabled Nvidia Drivers (did nothing, problem still exists)
I have booted with safe-mode and found out that the problem is most likely my drivers.
in SAFE-MODE there is NO black screen at all, but in NORMAL boot there is every 2 seconds. I have tried fiddling around with the drivers but have not had any luck.
Do you guys know if there are any drivers that can be interfering with VGA? I KNOW that it is within windows drivers because this has nothing to do with external drivers.
please help me out, i can refund the product, but that will take at least weeks.
Please help me out! the problem is with EVERY VGA compatible monitor i have!
