Getting low fps in dota 2 5970

i have ati 5970,12gb ram corsair,amd phenom II1090t,motherboard is rampage III, i used to get 120 fps but since 6 months im getting only 60 fps and it is even dropping down dont know why,v-sync is also off plz help me out.

No, its the same thing as vsync... just wanted to make sure you didn't update your drivers and it got switched on or something. What refresh rate is your monitor? If it is only 60 Hz i don't see why getting 60 fps would be an issue (a 60 Hz monitor can only display 60 fps)... And you said vsync is not turned on in DOTA2 right?

yea i hav 60 hz monitor and vsync is off but i used to get 120fps before and its not stable it drops down to 30 in battles which bugs me

after dota 2 update i guess but when i checked with others it didnt affect them and when i searching for a solution many of the 5970 users had this problem after driver update so not sure where the problem is i even formatted my comp reinstalled the game and drivers still the same problem

Have you tried uninstalling your GPU drivers and using older drivers?

Are you only having this problem in DOTA2? if so it is most likely the game itself, not much you can do other than maybe send a support ticket and wait for another update.
