So I have 2 computers, ones an amd a10 with the amd radeon graphics (laptop would be external monitor). The other is an i7 with intel hd 4000 (pc would be main monitor). I want to game on one of them (both can handle it) but i have a very nice Asus 24 in. external monitor and I want to use the one that has better graphics on the monitor. So my question is does the graphics card matter when im using an external monitor?

yes is does the pc (a10) has a amd gpu built in and is better for gaming then the intel 4000 chiposet). the better the gpu the higher res you can run the game and the better frame rate. 30 frames are the lowest you want to run a game at unless you like to see your guy shudder and die :)
