If you were me, would you wait for the 700 series?

Not sure when the 700 series is coming out but i do know it'll be out around april, may, or june. I'm currently using my old GTX 260 but i really wanna upgrade for Crysis 3 and any other high tier games thats coming out. I was thinking about getting the gtx 670 or the gtx 680 but not sure if i should just wait for the gtx 770. If you were me, what would you do?

Lots of rumors floating around that the Titan will be out February/March, but the 7XX series and AMD 8xxx series are delayed until Q4 2013.

Please keep in mind everything is a rumor right now, and there were rumors a week ago the 7XX series would be out in the time frame you mentioned.

Titan will be expensive! Whether to upgrade soon or wait depends on your budget.

I just bought an EVGA 660 TI Sc and i am very happy with it. Personally I wouldn't recommend to get a 670 they are like 100 more than a stock 660 ti with just a 10% performance increase which you could easily get with an overclock and more.
From my point of view go with a good 660 ti like power edition from MSI or a 680.
They will be capable of run a lot of games including crysis 3 and comming games and if you see that the upgrade from 600 series to 700 series worth it then you can sell for a good price the 600 card and put some more bucks.

Thats a different point of view... Most people would consider GTX 660 or GTX 670 the best cards for the money in nvidia line up, not the GTX 660 Ti or GTX 680. The GTX 670 is more than 10% faster than the GTX 660 Ti, I would recommend getting the GTX 670 for the performance increase and extra bandwidth. As for getting a 600 series now or waiting for 700's.. It could be 2-8+ months before they come out so only you can make that call. Going from a gtx 260 to a gtx 670 will be a huge upgrade and I don't think you would regret it.

If i were you having a budget of $800, i would have either gone for GTX 670 2 way SLI or a single HD 7970.......... Hope you understand!

I dont believe they will delay the 700/8000 series that long i just dont see it..By that time 760 750 would be out if they on the same roadmap or close like the 600 series

I'd get the best performance I could afford now & enjoy better gaming.
You get in the cycle of waiting, you'll always be in it when it's
time to upgrade. Besides you could be waiting til October,
no guarantee they'll be out by June.

Before eveyone gets hyped up on rumors lets see what happens before now and then and we should know something by then. To early for rumors honesty so take them with a grain of salt so i would wait it out untill atleast april and if nothing has been said by then maybe you might wanna upgrade
