hello,

the gtx 650 ti is 120$ and the hd 7850 is 180 but 20$ rebate plus get 10$ off for first purchase!

i want to play games like arma 2, bf3, and in 3D!

which 1 should i get?
is the 7850 worth he extra money?
any benchmarks comparing both?


also would the 7850 bottleneck the fx 4100?
im upgrading to the 6300

You can plug in the two cards here for a bechmark, (http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/549?vs=680). Don't know how to link yet but just copy/paste it into your browser. Also if you look in the Tom's articles under graphics they do a best graphics card for the money comparison and just look for the January one. It recommends...

Also if you look in the Tom's articles under graphics they do a best graphics card for the money comparison and just look for the January one. It recommends the both cards at their price points but out of personal experience I would go for the 7850 for the extra performance and bit of futureproofing. There are reviews everywhere saying the 7850 or its big brother 7870 are the kings of price to performance. A little searching on the internet led me to say that cpu will bottleneck, so a 6300 or even a 8350 if you can swing it would be a good option if you plan on sticking with AMD.
