I have had my PC now for around about 3 months I built it myself and was not going to overclock it until now to make sure it was working correctly. I have tried small over-clocks on the CPU for exams 2.8Ghz > 3.2Ghz. I have the Noctua D14 and on Prime 95 It won't got above 37c at all 6 cores at 100%

What would you guys recommend as a speed I wan't to keep the voltages on auto so I don't mess things up! I mainly do Video editing and things seem to be slow rendering I mean it could be the HDD or the RAM but It's probably the low CPU Frequency. What is the maximum GHZ ever reached with the 1055t? and what speed should I be aiming for?

AMD 1055t (2.8 X 6)
ASUS M4N75TD
4GB Generic RAM (Have 12GB on the way)
GTX 460 Sonic Platinum
750w Corsair PSU

I use 1055T for enconding video, just run at default.
Software video encoding depend on softeware have accelarate gpu or not. And want fast need SSD for os and Hdd in raid5, What is your soft encoding video ..? And u have nhd-14 can get 4.3 ghz but wondering about your ram. Spec detail please

I have 4GB of just Generic Ram although I'm getting this stuff Kingston HyperX - Memory - 12 GB : 3 x 4 GB - DIMM 240-pin - DDR3 - 1600 MHz

I'm using Sony Vegas

Sony vegas rendering video use CPU, you can OC maximum only 3.8Ghz for dailly with VCore1.44-1.45 because this Voltage is same as the peak fulload default. just use dual channel RAM ( i use 2x4Gb =8gb of Ram). and OC your Own Risk.

Because your vcore over 1.45 for 4ghz or above just use bencmark. Video endondingneed high stability ram and cpu usage .. Do you want decrease your lifetime cpu ..?if you want it , You can go 4ghz fsb 286 vcore 1.52 and temperature must bellow 60C

Auto when fulload at 1.44 same 3.8ghz, you must go bios set fsb 240 voltage at manual increase vcore 0.025 =1.32 when fulload. All still default and you get lower vcore

With DDR3 1333 your sweet spot will be 14x250MHz (with DDR3 1600: 14x240MHz).

Drop your memory divider from 667 to 533 (800 to 667 with DDR3 1600).

Set your NB volts at 1.1875v to 1.2v.

I would recommend not using *Auto* voltage --manual tweaking will help you prevent over-volting and help keep your temps down.

Not sure what Vegas you are using but don't worry about the 'thread' setting. Even though it may max at *4* it will run an X6 at 95-100% cpu utilization across all cores.
