IE 8 comes by default with Windows 7.

However, try this. IE 8 download.

You probably got IE9 automatically installed through Windows Update, because like it was mentionned, IE8 is the default on a new W7 install.

If you have IE 9 installed, all you need to do is uninstall it, then you'll be reverted back to IE 8. Go to Programs & Features in the Control Panel. Choose View Installed Updates, then find IE 9 in the list and uninstall.
