Should I get the EVGA GTX 670 FTW or the Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 OC with a Boost 3GB ? Which one will deliver me the best performance in high end games like BF3 , Guild Wars 2, Skyrim , DmC etc..
My rig:
CPU : intel i5 3450 3.1ghz turbo boost 3.5ghz

See what's the cheaper and get it, both are good cards, you might prefer the 7970, since you have already an amd card.

I just bought the Gigabyte 7970 Ghz Ed. I'm super thrilled with it so far. I decided on it over a 670 because it has better multi-monitor support and a wider memory bandwidth (may not be important currently, but will soon I expect) than the 670. I bet you'd be happy with either however.

The 7970 will be better in most games, but there are a few where Nvidia is hands down better. Particularly World of Warcraft.

You can compare the 670 factory OC (10.0 rating) and the 7970 Ghz (8.5 rating) here:

If ya wanna go further and look at large resolutions up to 5760 x 1080, this site has a wode range of tests at varying conditions:

you compare one if not the best 670 vs. a stock 7970Ghz. how can you take pride in that?
