I was think about doing a dual graphics cars install using the Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 2048MB.

I'm running the Sapphire Radeon HD 6570 HD at the mo!

I'm using a Gigabyte SKT-1155 Z77X-D3H Motherboard is compatible with AMD CrossFireX™/NVIDIA SLI Configuration.
I don't want too go out and buy the new cards and waste my money!

Thanks very much for any help guys

I was going to buy 2 6670's

Could I Crossfire 6570 with 6670 by just buying one 6670? (I have never run dual cards before)

How much are both the cards going to cost you? Also what cpu do you have? As it may be better to get one more powerful card.

Sorry guys!
I forgot to mention my PSU!

Its a Antec 550W Power Supply, would this be enough power! :/ )

1. I'm super relieved that your using £ as I know those prices better. 2. Could you say what your processor is? 3. What websites do you like to use are places like scan, OCUK and amazon ok?

Sorry didn't see your reply to the cpu. With that you could get a 1gb hd 7850 from scan that may outperform the two hd 6670. It costs £119.99. I will just check benchmarks for you. Also whay games do you play?
February 2, 2013 11:55:20 AM

I don't really play games! I watch a lot of films and you tube, I think its just one of those things I would like to install!

I will look in to your advice thou, just one good card! 0_0

thanks for all your help

I was a bit off on the price as the 1gb is a bit over 120 pounds. I mentioned one card because some things don't support crossfire or crossfire doesn't run as well as one card.

Also your antec PSU should be fine for a hd 7850 but I'm not sure about a cross fired hd 6670. Are you going to sell the hd 6570 that won't get that much I don't think but it will be something and it could go towards a better gpu.

The hd 7770 will be fine for what you want to do and more efficient than two 6670s. I just want to have a look to see if there is a 2gb version cheaper.

Can I just ask why you want to get a graphics card? It is perfectly fine but do you use any programs that like a graphics card?

Not really!

I just want a good picture! lol

A GPU doesn't change the quality of a picture. You will still see things the same way if you were using a 10 year old card vs a newer card or even onboard graphics. A new monitor would help you have a better picture though. (assuming its not a problem of having a gpu that doesn't support your monitors resolution or something)

Hi mouse,
That's a good point, I was thinking about upgrading my monitor! :-)
